Patna ( Economy India )A court in Patna on Friday deferred the hearing on the anticipatory bail plea of noted Bihar educator Faisal Khan, popularly known as Khan Sir, until July 7. The court also extended the interim protection from arrest until the next hearing.

The case is linked to a firing incident that reportedly took place in early June at Khan Sir’s coaching institute in Patna. According to allegations, a group of miscreants entered the premises and vandalized the property, leading to chaos at the coaching center.
It is alleged that during the incident, security personnel deployed at the institute opened fire in an attempt to control the situation. Following the incident, a case was registered, and legal proceedings began.
During Friday’s hearing, the court decided to postpone further arguments until July 7 while allowing the interim relief against Khan Sir’s arrest to remain in effect.
The matter is expected to come up for further hearing next week, when the court will consider the anticipatory bail plea in greater detail.
