Sedemac Mechatronics Business
Sedemac Mechatronics operates in the automotive technology and components segment, with a focus on powertrain control systems and related automotive applications.
Powertrain control systems are an important part of modern vehicles, helping manage and optimise functions associated with the vehicle’s engine, transmission and related systems.
The company is based in Pune, one of India’s major automotive and engineering hubs.
Nandan Nilekani-Linked Trust Among Sellers
The NRJN Family Trust, associated with Infosys co-founder and technology entrepreneur Nandan Nilekani, was among the five entities that participated in the stake sale.
The combined transaction involved more than 48.79 lakh shares, making it a significant block transaction in the company’s equity.
The sale does not by itself indicate any change in the company’s underlying operations. It represents a divestment by existing shareholders through the secondary market.
