BALLIA (Uttar Pradesh) Economy India:Police have registered a case against a youth in Ballia for allegedly posting objectionable and personal remarks on Facebook against Samajwadi Party (SP) MP Sanatan Pandey, an officer said on Saturday.

The alleged remarks were related to a statement made by the Ballia MP concerning the appointment of the CEO of the Ram temple trust.

According to the FIR, Pandey alleged that Ashu Tiwari posted and circulated “indecent, objectionable and obscene” personal comments about his public statement. The MP claimed that the social media posts were intended to tarnish his image and undermine the dignity of his office.

Garwar Station House Officer Hitesh Kumar said the case was registered on Friday night following a complaint from Pandey.
