From AI-powered TVs and smartphones to smart appliances, locks and family companion robots, TCL showcases an integrated vision of intelligent living in Berlin
Berlin ( Economy India): Global consumer electronics brand TCL is showcasing its vision of smarter, AI-enabled living at IFA 2026, bringing together next-generation display technologies, smart home appliances, mobile devices, connected living solutions and AI-powered experiences.
Under the theme “AI Inspired Life,” TCL has created an immersive Inspiration Habitat at Messe Berlin, demonstrating how artificial intelligence can move beyond individual devices to become part of everyday living. The showcase runs from September 4 to 8 in Hall 21A.
The company is using the platform to demonstrate how AI can connect entertainment, home comfort, household management, security and family interaction into a more integrated ecosystem.

AI Moves Beyond Individual Devices
TCL’s IFA 2026 showcase is built around the idea that smart technology should work naturally across different aspects of everyday life.
The company’s Inspiration Habitat brings together technologies covering:
- Large-screen entertainment
- Smartphones and tablets
- AR and AI glasses
- Air conditioning
- Washing and drying
- Refrigeration
- Smart home access
- Family companion technology
- Solar energy solutions
The approach reflects a broader shift in consumer electronics—from connected products operating independently to ecosystems where devices can interact more intelligently with users and their surroundings.
TCL X11L Leads Next-Generation Display Showcase
At the centre of TCL’s display portfolio is the TCL X11L SQD-Mini LED TV, positioned as a flagship demonstration of the company’s Mini LED technology.
According to TCL, the X11L combines a Super Mini LED Backlight, Super QLED layer and WHVA 2.0 Ultra Panel. The television offers up to 20,736 local dimming zones, up to 10,000 nits of HDR brightness and up to 100% BT.2020 colour gamut coverage.
The flagship display is paired with Audio by Bang & Olufsen, bringing together advanced picture and audio technologies for a premium home entertainment experience.
TCL’s IFA showcase also includes the X3A OLED+ Gaming Monitor, the TMN Series Digital Signage displays and the Q95K Soundbar, featuring an 11.1.4-channel acoustic architecture.
Gemini for Google TV Expands AI Entertainment
TCL is also highlighting the expansion of Gemini for Google TV into additional countries and languages.
The AI experience is designed to make content discovery more conversational, allowing viewers to interact with their television in a more natural way.
This development reflects the growing role of AI in transforming the television from a passive screen into a personalised entertainment interface.
Smartphones and Personal Screens
TCL is extending its AI and display technology beyond televisions.
Making its IFA debut, the TCL P80 Series includes the flagship P80 Ultra, which features a 50MP 3x periscope telephoto camera and a 1.5K display capable of reaching 3,200 nits of brightness.
The P80 Ultra and P80 Pro also incorporate the next generation of TCL’s NXTPAPER technology, designed to provide a more comfortable viewing experience across different lighting conditions and extended usage.
For tablet users, the TCL TAB A1 Plus NXTPAPER features a 12.2-inch display.
Meanwhile, TCL’s RayNeo portfolio includes the RayNeo GT Max AR Glasses and RayNeo iO Smart Glasses, expanding the company’s approach to wearable computing and AI-assisted interaction.
AI Enters Everyday Home Appliances
TCL’s AI vision also extends into household appliances.
The TCL FreshIN 3.0 Ultra Air Conditioner combines fresh-air technology with an upgraded AI-based system designed to adjust compressor frequency for greater efficiency.
TCL says the system can deliver up to 37% additional energy savings on top of its inverter performance.
The air conditioner also includes real-time air-quality monitoring and smart voice control.
For laundry, the TCL AI SuperDrum Laundry Tower P9 Ultra uses Generative AI Wash technology to assess factors such as load size, fabric type and dirt level before automatically adjusting water, temperature, detergent dosage and cycle time.
The system is complemented by a triple-inverter heat pump designed for low-temperature drying.
Smart Home Security Gets an AI Upgrade
TCL is also bringing artificial intelligence into home access and security.
The K11D Pro Dual-Screen AI Smart Lock combines AI-powered interaction with visitor monitoring and remote unlocking capabilities.
The D2 Pro Matter Palm Vein Smart Lock provides touchless access using palm-vein recognition technology.
These solutions reflect TCL’s broader strategy of integrating intelligence into practical household functions rather than limiting AI to entertainment and communication devices.
NXTHOME: A More Integrated Smart Home
One of the major concepts showcased at IFA 2026 is TCL’s upgraded NXTHOME.
The concept brings together smart displays, home appliances, intelligent design and connected technologies into a unified living environment.
TCL has collaborated with global lifestyle and design names including Bang & Olufsen, Roche Bobois, Castelli Milano 1938, Chris Lefteri Design and WGSN to explore how technology can become more naturally integrated into home interiors.
The objective is to create homes where technology adapts to people’s lifestyles rather than dominating the living environment.
AI Companion Robot for Families
TCL is also showcasing its AiMe Family Companion Robot, designed to support children and parents through natural multimodal interaction.
The robot combines interactive capabilities, lifelike motion and evolving content focused on children’s exploration, self-expression and positive habits.
TCL positions AiMe as both a companion for children and a potential support tool for parents in everyday routines.
Smart Energy and Solar Technology
TCL’s vision of intelligent living also extends to home energy.
The company is showcasing the SunPower Origin Back Contact Solar Panel, which combines back-contact and shingled-cell technologies.
The solar solution is designed to improve residential energy performance while supporting TCL’s broader vision of connected, cleaner and more sustainable homes.
Technology Meets Sports
IFA 2026 also provides TCL with an opportunity to connect technology with sports and entertainment.
With the 2026 FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup taking place in Berlin during IFA week, TCL is bringing basketball-themed experiences and fan interactions to its Inspiration Habitat.
As a FIBA Global Partner, TCL is using the event to demonstrate how technology can connect consumers with sports and shared experiences beyond the home.
TCL’s Global Technology Strategy
TCL operates across more than 160 markets and has a broad portfolio spanning televisions, audio products, home appliances, mobile devices, smart glasses and commercial displays.
The company’s IFA 2026 presentation demonstrates a strategy increasingly centred on AI, connected ecosystems, premium displays and intelligent home technologies.
Rather than treating artificial intelligence as a feature limited to smartphones or computers, TCL is positioning AI as an underlying layer connecting multiple categories of consumer technology.
The Future of AI-Powered Living
The TCL showcase at IFA 2026 reflects a broader transformation underway across the consumer electronics industry.
The next stage of smart living is unlikely to be defined simply by the number of connected devices inside a home. Instead, the focus is shifting towards how naturally those devices communicate, understand context and respond to individual needs.
From an AI-powered television and smartphone to intelligent air conditioning, automated laundry, smart locks, family robotics and solar energy, TCL is presenting a vision in which technology becomes increasingly integrated into everyday life.
The message from IFA 2026 is clear: the future of consumer technology is moving from connected devices to connected experiences.
