BENGALURU (Economy India): Karnataka is planning to transform the second Quantum India Bengaluru Summit in 2027 into a major global platform for quantum research, innovation, industry collaboration and investment, Science & Technology Minister Ajay Dharam Singh said on Sunday.
The state has set an ambitious target of building a USD 20-billion quantum economy by 2035, underlining Karnataka’s push to strengthen its position as a global hub for emerging technologies.

According to the minister, the state aims to accelerate the development of a robust quantum ecosystem by bringing together research institutions, technology companies, startups, investors and policymakers.
