Successful Industrial Visit to Agrawal Food Industries Organized by ICAI Raigarh Branch

Raigarh (Economy India): The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) Raigarh Branch organized a successful one-day industrial visit for Chartered Accountancy students to the poultry and cattle feed manufacturing facility of Agrawal Food Industries Pvt. Ltd. in Raigarh. The educational initiative aimed to provide students with practical exposure to industrial operations and business management.

The visit witnessed enthusiastic participation from CA students, who got an opportunity to closely observe how a manufacturing unit functions and how financial and operational processes are integrated in industrial management.

Warm Welcome and Women’s Day Greetings

The program began with the National Anthem at the company’s office premises. Director Sunita Agrawal welcomed the female students with roses and a traditional roli tilak, extending her wishes on the occasion of International Women’s Day and praying for their bright future.

Chairman Rajesh Agrawal later honored the office bearers and senior members of the ICAI Raigarh Branch by presenting bouquets.

Presence of Distinguished Guests

Several prominent members attended the event, including Branch Chairman Dinesh Agrawal, senior CA Balkishan Kedia, Secretary Manas Bansal, Vice-Chairman Sanjay Soni, along with CAs Deepak Garg, Vinay Goyal, Nitesh Agrawal, Shubham Agrawal, Rahul Agrawal, and senior advocate Vishal Saraswat.

Director Rahul Agrawal welcomed the guests and students and highlighted the importance of practical learning for professional courses like Chartered Accountancy.

Motivational Session for Students

During the program, Tejaswi Agrawal delivered an engaging 30-minute PowerPoint presentation. He discussed the challenges faced during the CA course, strategies to overcome them, and the key qualities required to succeed in professional life. His session proved highly motivating and informative for the participating students.

Students Explore Industrial Operations

The highlight of the event was the factory tour of Agrawal Food Industries Pvt. Ltd.. Director Rahul Agrawal personally guided the students through the manufacturing unit and explained the complete production process.

Students observed various aspects including:

  • Poultry and cattle feed production
  • Machinery operations
  • Quality control systems
  • Packaging processes
  • Business management practices

The participants also gained insights into important concepts such as inventory management, stock control, cost management, and industrial operations, which are essential for Chartered Accountants working in corporate and manufacturing sectors.

Certificates Awarded to Participants

At the end of the visit, the directors of Agrawal Food Industries honored the students by presenting certificates for their participation. Students described the experience as informative, inspiring, and extremely beneficial for understanding real-world business operations.

Bridging Theory and Practical Learning

The office bearers of the ICAI Raigarh Branch stated that the purpose of such industrial visits is to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical exposure. By understanding how industries operate, students can develop the professional competence required to become successful Chartered Accountants.

Organized with the support of The Agrawal Group, the initiative proved to be a valuable learning experience for students, who expressed their gratitude to the organizers for providing them with practical insights into industrial management.
