NEW DELHI, (Economy India): Realty major Brigade Group plans to invest around Rs 40,000 crore over the next three years to develop residential, commercial, hospitality and warehousing projects across major markets in South India.

The Bengaluru-based real estate group announced the expansion plan as it marked 40 years of operations, outlining a development pipeline of approximately 40 million square feet across its key markets.

40 Million Sq Ft Development Pipeline

According to Brigade Group, the proposed investment will support a development pipeline spanning around 40 million sq ft over the next three years.

The projects will cover multiple segments, including:

  • Residential housing
  • Commercial developments
  • Hospitality projects
  • Warehousing and logistics facilities

The company intends to deploy the planned investment across its established markets in South India as part of its next phase of growth.

Brigade Group Marks 40 Years

The investment announcement coincides with Brigade Group completing four decades in the real estate business.

Founded in Bengaluru, the group has expanded its presence across residential, commercial, retail, hospitality and other real estate segments.

The company said its next phase of growth will focus on scaling its development pipeline while expanding across key South Indian markets.

Focus on South Indian Markets

Brigade Group’s expansion strategy is centred on major cities in South India, where demand for housing, office space, hospitality and logistics infrastructure has continued to support real estate development.

The planned investment is expected to increase the company’s development footprint and diversify its portfolio across asset classes.

With 40 million sq ft planned for development, the programme represents a substantial expansion of Brigade’s project pipeline over the next three years.
