New Delhi (Economy India): Shares of Bajaj Finance Ltd. rallied nearly 7% on Friday, touching a fresh 52-week high after the company reported a robust financial performance for the first quarter of FY27.
The non-banking financial company (NBFC) posted a 28% year-on-year increase in consolidated Profit After Tax (PAT) for the quarter ended June 2026. The strong earnings boosted investor confidence, leading to heavy buying in the stock during morning trade.
On the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), Bajaj Finance shares climbed 6.81% to Rs 1,128, marking a new 52-week high. Similarly, on the National Stock Exchange (NSE), the stock surged 7% to touch Rs 1,128.10, its highest level in the past year.
The impressive quarterly results reflect healthy loan growth, improving asset quality, and strong demand across the company’s lending segments. Market analysts believe the earnings reinforce Bajaj Finance’s position as one of India’s leading NBFCs, supported by its diversified loan portfolio and consistent financial performance.
The rally also contributed to positive sentiment in the financial sector, with investors expecting the company to maintain its growth momentum in the coming quarters.
