Pyari Xaxa Opens the Scoring

After a competitive first half, India broke the deadlock in the 42nd minute through Pyari Xaxa.

The forward capitalized on India’s attacking pressure and gave the hosts a deserved lead, sending the crowd into celebration.

Bangladesh Respond Before the Break

Ritu Porna Chakma scored in the 45+2 minute to level the score at 1-1 and briefly shift momentum in favor of the defending champions.

The goal ensured the final remained competitive heading into the second half.

India Strike Immediately After Restart

India responded in the best possible manner after the break.

Just one minute into the second half, Sanfida Nongrum restored India’s lead with a well-taken goal in the 46th minute.

The early strike put Bangladesh under pressure and allowed India to regain control of the match.

From that point onward, the hosts continued to create chances while maintaining defensive discipline.

Lynda Kom Serto Seals the Victory

The goal secured a memorable 3-1 victory and sparked celebrations among players, coaching staff, and supporters.

Historic Sixth SAFF Women’s Championship Title
