New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the 20th installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana on August 2, 2025, during a special programme in Varanasi. This nationwide campaign aims to ensure direct benefit transfer to millions of farmers across the country.

Union Minister for Agriculture & Farmers Welfare and Rural Development, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, chaired a high-level meeting today to review preparations for the event. Senior officials from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), 731 Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs) and vice-chancellors of agricultural universities joined the meeting virtually.
