Hindi Media tycoon Yogendra Mohan Gupta, Chairman Jagran Group passes the way

President Ram Nath Kovind, Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi were among the leaders who condoled his death.

Yogendra Mohan Gupta, Chairman of Jagran Group, India’s largest Hindi Media passed away in Kanpur on Friday, the media house said.

He immensely contributed to the growth of the media group. His death was officially announced by Dainik Jagran from its official Twitter handle.

He was known for catapulting the Jagran Group to greater heights. He was also a known poet, having made contributions to the growth of art and culture in the country.

His last rites will be performed in Kanpur on Saturday, Dainik Jagran tweeted from its official handle about the demise of Yogendra Mohan.

The 83-year-old was unwell and breathed his last at a private hospital, the media house said.

Contribution to Jagran Group

Yogendra Mohan started contributing to Dainik Jagran in his early days. He first took up the advertising front. He did new experiments for advertising. Due to his efforts, the newspaper got financial strength. He was an efficient administrator in the institute. He was also known as a compassionate social worker, Dainik Jagran report said.
