A Mission to Preserve Language and Culture

Speaking about the vision behind the initiative, Bhanu Pratap Mishra said that India’s ancient knowledge traditions are deeply rooted in its languages.

“Sanskrit is the key to understanding India’s ancient civilisation, literature, philosophy and knowledge systems. Hindi is our mother tongue and one of the most widely spoken languages in the country, while English has become an indispensable medium for higher education, business, technology and international communication. Through this programme, we aim to provide an opportunity for people to learn languages, reconnect with India’s cultural roots and enhance their communication skills.”

He added that the initiative seeks to encourage lifelong learning and help participants improve their academic, professional and personal growth through language education.
