Pratapgarh, Uttar Pradesh (Economy India): A philanthropist from Pratapgarh who donated ₹1 crore towards the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya has expressed deep disappointment over reports alleging irregularities in the handling of donation funds.
Siyaram Umar Vaishya, a well-known social worker and devotee of Lord Ram, said he had sold his land in 2018 to contribute ₹1 crore for the construction of the grand temple. He described the donation as a gesture of faith and devotion rather than charity.

According to Vaishya, recent media reports regarding alleged financial irregularities involving temple donations have caused him emotional distress. He said devotees who contributed generously to the project expected complete transparency and accountability in the use of public donations.
The philanthropist emphasized that the Ram Temple holds immense religious significance for millions of devotees across the country and expressed hope that any concerns related to financial management would be addressed through a fair and transparent process.
No official findings confirming any wrongdoing have been announced regarding the allegations mentioned in the reports. The matter remains subject to verification and any ongoing or future inquiries by the concerned authorities.
