Leaders Discuss Governance, Democratic Values and Effective Implementation of Welfare Schemes
Raipur (Economy India): Om Birla paid a courtesy visit to Vishnu Deo Sai at the Chief Minister’s residence in Raipur on Wednesday.
Welcoming the Lok Sabha Speaker to Chhattisgarh, Chief Minister Sai presented him with a traditional shawl, a commemorative memento, and a coffee table book showcasing the state’s rich cultural heritage and the globally renowned Bastar Dussehra.
During the meeting, the two leaders held discussions on a range of issues, including state development, good governance, effective implementation of public welfare schemes, strengthening democratic institutions, and other matters of public interest.
Chief Minister Sai lauded Birla’s contribution towards reinforcing parliamentary traditions and elevating the standards of legislative conduct in the country.
He said Birla’s leadership has played a significant role in strengthening democratic institutions and enhancing the effectiveness of elected representatives.
“The guidance and leadership of the Lok Sabha Speaker will further strengthen democratic values and deepen the roots of democracy in the country,” the Chief Minister said.
The meeting also focused on promoting citizen-centric governance and ensuring the efficient delivery of welfare initiatives across the state.
Several senior leaders and public representatives were present during the interaction, including Raman Singh, Union Minister of State Tokhan Sahu, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kedar Kashyap, and Member of Parliament Brijmohan Agrawal.
