LUCKNOW (Economy India): The Uttar Pradesh government is set to conduct one of the country’s largest recruitment examinations as the written test for the Uttar Pradesh Police Constable Direct Recruitment 2026 begins on June 8. More than 28.86 lakh candidates are expected to appear for the examination, competing for 32,679 constable posts in the state’s police force.

According to an official statement issued by the Uttar Pradesh government, the examination will be held over three days—June 8, 9 and 10—across all 75 districts of the state.
