Mumbai (Economy India): Urban Land Institute (ULI), the world’s oldest and largest network of cross-disciplinary land-use and real estate experts, will host the fourth edition of the ULI India Annual Conference on February 26, 2026, at the Four Seasons Hotel, Worli, Mumbai.

Anchored around the theme “Big Ideas Shaping Indian Cities,” the conference will convene senior urban leaders from India, Europe, the United States, and Asia to examine how geopolitics, capital flows, technology, and governance are reshaping the future of urban India.

The 2026 edition marks ULI’s fourth year in India and is set to be the largest ULI India conference to date, reflecting the growing global focus on India’s urban transformation.

A Platform Beyond Projects: Focus on Policy, Leadership, and Resilience

Unlike traditional real estate or infrastructure forums, the ULI India Annual Conference positions itself as a policy-led urban dialogue platform, moving beyond individual projects and transactions.

The discussions will focus on how Indian cities can adapt to:

  • Global geopolitical fragmentation
  • Shifting international and domestic capital flows
  • Rapid adoption of digital and AI-led technologies
  • Climate risks and sustainability challenges
  • Demographic and workforce transitions

Industry leaders and policymakers will explore how urban leadership, governance reforms, and innovation ecosystems can enable cities to grow with purpose, resilience, and long-term economic competitiveness.

ULI India’s Growing Influence in Urban Policy Discourse

The ULI India Annual Conference was established with the support of ULI India’s founding partners, including:

  • ANAROCK
  • Blackstone
  • Brookfield
  • Hines
  • K Raheja Corp
  • RMZ Corp
  • Xander

Over the past four years, the platform has emerged as one of India’s most influential independent forums for shaping conversations on urban development, investment strategy, and policy reform.

Strong Global Industry Participation in 2026

The 2026 conference is supported by a broad coalition of global and Indian industry leaders:

  • Platinum Sponsor: EAAA Alternatives
  • Gold Sponsors: Arcadis, CapitaLand, Cushman & Wakefield, Gensler, Phoenix Workspaces
  • Silver Sponsors: Aedas, Perkins Eastman

This strong sponsorship lineup underlines the strategic importance of Indian cities in global investment, urban design, and economic planning.

Why the Conference Matters for India’s Economic Future

As India continues to emerge as one of the world’s fastest-growing major economies, its cities will play a decisive role in sustaining growth, attracting capital, and creating jobs.

Experts note that India’s urban centres are now at a critical inflection point, where policy clarity, institutional capacity, and technology adoption will determine whether cities can scale sustainably while remaining inclusive and climate-resilient.

The ULI India Annual Conference 2026 aims to contribute to this transition by fostering cross-border knowledge exchange and aligning global best practices with India-specific urban realities.

Economy India Takeaway

With rising global attention on India’s urban economy, the ULI India Annual Conference 2026 is expected to serve as a key forum influencing how cities, capital, and policy intersect in the next phase of India’s growth story.
