International orders for optical fibre cables reaffirm company’s technological excellence and growing global footprint

New Delhi (Economy India): HFCL Ltd., one of India’s leading telecom equipment and digital network solutions providers, has secured international export orders worth USD 54.81 million (approximately ₹522.73 crore) for the supply of optical fibre cables, marking another significant milestone in the company’s global expansion strategy.

The orders, received from renowned international customers, will be executed by January 2027, according to a regulatory filing made by the company on Saturday.

Major Boost to India’s Telecom Exports

The latest order win highlights the growing global demand for high-quality Indian telecom infrastructure products and reinforces HFCL’s position as a trusted supplier in international markets. The development also reflects India’s increasing competitiveness in the global optical fibre manufacturing industry, driven by rapid digital transformation and expanding broadband connectivity worldwide.

The contracts are expected to strengthen HFCL’s export business while supporting its long-term strategy of expanding its presence across global telecom and digital infrastructure markets.

Company Highlights Manufacturing Strength

Commenting on the development, HFCL said the new orders demonstrate customers’ continued confidence in the company’s manufacturing excellence, advanced technology capabilities and consistent product quality.

“The company has secured export orders worth USD 54.81 million (equivalent to ₹522.73 crore) for the supply of optical fibre cables from renowned international customers. These orders reaffirm the confidence reposed by our customers in the company’s manufacturing capabilities, technological excellence and product quality,” the company said in its regulatory filing.

The order comes at a time when countries across the world are accelerating investments in 5G deployment, fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) networks, data centres and next-generation digital infrastructure. Optical fibre cables have become a critical component of modern communication networks, enabling high-speed internet, cloud services and digital connectivity.
