New Delhi (Economy India): GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals Ltd (GSK Pharma India) on Monday reported a strong financial performance for the first quarter of FY2026-27, with its consolidated net profit rising 16% year-on-year to ₹237.18 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026.
The pharmaceutical major attributed the healthy performance to robust revenue growth, reflecting sustained demand across its portfolio and a solid start to the new financial year.

Net Profit Grows to ₹237 Crore
According to the company’s regulatory filing, consolidated net profit stood at ₹237.18 crore during the April-June quarter of FY27, compared with ₹205 crore reported in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.
The improvement in profitability highlights GSK Pharma India’s continued operational strength amid a competitive pharmaceutical market.
Revenue Surges Nearly 17%
GSK Pharma also reported a significant increase in revenue during the first quarter.
Consolidated revenue from operations rose to ₹938.44 crore, up from ₹805.17 crore in the same quarter last year, registering a year-on-year growth of nearly 16.5%.
The strong top-line performance indicates healthy sales momentum across the company’s pharmaceutical business.
