Education and Social Reform at the Core

The Chief Minister noted that such large-scale social gatherings provide an opportunity to eradicate social evils and guide society in a positive direction. Reiterating the state government’s commitment to dignity, education and inclusive development of all sections, he called upon community leaders and families to prioritise quality education for children.

Highlighting the government’s focus on education infrastructure, CM Sai said that colleges are now operational in every development block across the state, while institutions of national importance—such as medical, engineering and law colleges—are being continuously expanded and strengthened.

Praise for Yadav Community’s Traditions

Commending the Yadav community’s long-standing tradition of gau seva (cow protection and service), the Chief Minister said that as descendants of Lord Krishna, the community has played a historic role in preserving and protecting cattle. He also appealed for collective efforts toward building a drug-free society.

Government Achievements and Welfare Measures

Outlining key achievements of the state government, CM Sai said that most of the guarantees given to the people by Prime Minister Narendra Modi have been fulfilled over the past two years.

  • Over 18 lakh Pradhan Mantri Awas approvals were granted in the first cabinet decision, marking the beginning of a housing revolution in the state.
  • Under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, more than ₹15,000 crore has been transferred to the bank accounts of nearly 70 lakh women beneficiaries.
  • Through the Krishak Unnati Yojana, paddy is being procured at ₹3,100 per quintal, up to 21 quintals per acre, with pending payments to be released before Holi.
  • The remuneration for tendu patta collection has been increased from ₹4,000 to ₹5,500 per standard bag, directly benefiting forest-dwelling families.

₹11.75 Crore Development Projects Unveiled

During the event, the Chief Minister laid the foundation stones and inaugurated six development projects worth ₹11.75 crore in the Kunkuri विधानसभा constituency.

  • Five projects worth ₹9.42 crore were launched through bhoomipujan.
  • One completed project costing ₹2.33 crore was formally inaugurated.
