Pratapgarh, Uttar Pradesh (Economy India): A philanthropist from Pratapgarh who donated ₹1 crore towards the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya has expressed deep disappointment over reports alleging irregularities in the handling of donation funds.

Siyaram Umar Vaishya, a well-known social worker and devotee of Lord Ram, said he had sold his land in 2018 to contribute ₹1 crore for the construction of the grand temple. He described the donation as a gesture of faith and devotion rather than charity.
