Flipkart Delivery Executive Arrested

Bengaluru ( Economy India ): A delivery executive associated with Flipkart has been arrested in Bengaluru after he was accused of forcing his way into a woman’s residence and making an obscene gesture, police officials said on Sunday.

The incident has sparked concerns over customer safety and prompted a response from the e-commerce company.

Case Registered by Police

According to police, the woman filed a complaint at the Marathahalli Police Station, following which a case was registered under Crime No. 345/2026.

The case has been filed under Sections 75, 79, and 329(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). The accused was subsequently arrested, and further investigation is underway.

Flipkart Responds

Reacting to the incident, Flipkart said it was deeply disturbed by the allegations and emphasized that customer safety remains a top priority.

The company stated that it is cooperating with law enforcement authorities and is taking the matter seriously. It also indicated that appropriate action would be taken in accordance with its internal policies.

Investigation Continues

Police are examining the circumstances surrounding the incident and collecting evidence as part of the ongoing investigation. Officials have urged anyone with additional information related to the case to come forward.

Conclusion

The arrest of the delivery executive has raised fresh concerns about customer safety during doorstep deliveries. As the investigation progresses, both the police and Flipkart are expected to take further steps based on the findings of the case.
