Woman Says She Met Accused Through Social Media
According to the complaint, the woman met the accused through social media last year.
A police source said the man had allegedly introduced himself as a makeup artist and told the woman that he could introduce her to people who could help her professionally.
The woman alleged that the accused subsequently contacted her in connection with work and called her to a hotel in northwest Delhi in July.

Allegation of Drugging and Sexual Assault
According to the complaint, the accused allegedly gave the woman a cold drink containing a sedative or intoxicating substance.
She alleged that after she became unconscious, the man sexually assaulted her.

The allegations form the basis of the complaint and will now be examined as part of the police investigation.

Hotel CCTV and Records Seized

FIR Registered, Search for Accused Underway
An FIR has been registered following the woman’s complaint.
Police are currently searching for the accused and are carrying out further investigation into the allegations.

Such evidence can potentially help establish the nature of the relationship between the two individuals and the sequence of events preceding the alleged incidents.
Investigation to Establish Facts
The allegations in the case are serious, but the exact circumstances will be established through the investigation and subsequent legal proceedings.
Police will need to examine the available evidence, including CCTV recordings, hotel records, medical findings and any relevant digital communications.
