Raipur (Economy India): Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai held an inspiring interaction with students from Prayas Residential Schools who successfully qualified the NEET 2026 examination, outlining the state’s vision for education-driven development and encouraging the young achievers to become compassionate doctors and responsible citizens.

The special interaction took place at the Chief Minister’s Residence in Raipur, where students engaged in an open discussion on education, healthcare, employment, tourism, sports, technology, governance, and the future of Chhattisgarh.

NEET Success Reflects the Strength of Inclusive Education

Congratulating the students, the Chief Minister said that the remarkable performance of students from economically weaker and tribal communities is a proud achievement for the entire state.

He noted that 17 Prayas Residential Schools are currently operating across Chhattisgarh, providing quality education and competitive examination coaching to talented students from remote and tribal regions.

“The success of these students is the result of their hard work, the blessings of their parents, and the dedication of their teachers,” he said.

“Be Compassionate Doctors, Not Just Successful Professionals”

Addressing the future medical professionals, Sai said doctors hold one of the most respected positions in society because they save lives.

He urged students to become not only skilled physicians but also empathetic and humane individuals.

“A doctor’s kind behaviour often becomes the first step toward healing a patient,” he remarked.

Expanding Educational Opportunities

Highlighting the state’s education reforms, the Chief Minister said Chhattisgarh is creating better opportunities for students preparing for competitive examinations.

He announced that:

  • 34 new Nalanda Study Centres are under construction across the state.
  • These centres will provide 24├Ч7 access to both online and offline learning resources.
  • The Delhi Tribal Youth Hostel has expanded its capacity from 50 to 200 seats, offering free accommodation and meals.
  • This year, 13 students from the hostel qualified the UPSC Preliminary Examination.

Medical Education Gets a Major Boost

Sai said Chhattisgarh had only one medical college at the time of state formation, but today the state has 15 government and private medical colleges.

The government is establishing five additional medical colleges, which will add 250 MBBS seats, strengthening medical education and healthcare infrastructure.

Call for a Drug-Free Youth

Referring to the nationwide “Drug-Free Youth, Developed India” campaign launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Chief Minister urged students to stay away from substance abuse and inspire others to do the same.

He said healthy, disciplined, and educated youth are essential for building a developed India and a prosperous Chhattisgarh.

Students Raise Questions on Development and Governance

During the interactive session, students asked questions on education, politics, tourism, employment, sports, public administration, and the future of the state.

Education

Sai assured students that financial constraints would never be allowed to become a barrier to education. The government is expanding scholarships, digital learning facilities, and smart classrooms.

Tourism and Employment

The Chief Minister said that with the end of Left-Wing Extremism, Bastar has emerged as one of India’s most promising tourism destinations.

He highlighted the tourism potential of Chitrakote Falls, Tirathgarh, Abujhmad, and other heritage sites, stating that tourism will generate thousands of employment opportunities.

Industrial Growth

Sai said the state’s Industrial Policy 2024тАУ30 is attracting investments in manufacturing, energy, tourism, food processing, and emerging industries, creating significant employment prospects for youth.

Sports Development

He also highlighted the government’s investment in sports infrastructure, including modern sports complexes, financial incentives for athletes, and employment opportunities under the state’s sports policy.

Technology-Driven Governance

The Chief Minister informed students about the recently launched CM Helpline 1076, which allows citizens to directly register complaints and suggestions with the government.

He also announced that the state is developing a Chief Minister’s Digital Dashboard, enabling real-time monitoring of schools, hospitals, ration distribution, teacher attendance, and public services to ensure greater transparency and efficiency.

Vision of a Developed Chhattisgarh

Concluding the interaction, Sai said Chhattisgarh possesses abundant natural resources, strong agricultural potential, expanding industrial capacity, and a talented young population.

He expressed confidence that continued investments in education, healthcare, infrastructure, technology, tourism, and skill development would transform Chhattisgarh into one of India’s leading states.

The Chief Minister urged students to dedicate their knowledge and abilities to nation-building and public service, stating that the future of a developed Chhattisgarh rests in the hands of its youth.
