Mumbai: Stephanie Coßmann, Labor Director and member of the Board of Management of LANXESS AG, will leave the Cologne-based specialty chemicals company at her own request on March 31, 2022, to pursue her professional career outside LANXESS.

Coßmann (48), who holds a doctorate in law, has worked at LANXESS since 2004. After various tasks in the legal department, she headed the Human Resources department from 2017. Since January 1, 2020, she has been a member of the Board of Management and Labor Director of LANXESS AG. She has been responsible for the Human Resources and Legal and Compliance corporate functions as well as for the Leather business unit.

LANXESS CEO Matthias Zachert: “My colleagues on the Board and I would like to thank Stephanie Coßmann for the trustful cooperation. She has contributed to making LANXESS a modern and attractive employer, especially through her work in HR and as Labor Director.”

LANXESS Chairman of the Supervisory Board Matthias Wolfgruber: “We very much regret the departure of Ms. Coßmann and thank her for her valuable work. We wish her much success and all the best – both for her professional and personal future.”

Stephanie Coßmann’s successor is to be appointed as soon as possible. LANXESS remains committed to increasing the proportion of women in management positions.
