NEW DELHI, ( Economy India): State-owned Telecommunications Consultants India Limited (TCIL) has paid a dividend of Rs 43.86 crore to the Government of India for the financial year 2025-26, according to an official statement issued on Thursday.
TCIL Chairman and Managing Director Syed Tausif Abbas presented the dividend cheque to Union Telecom Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia in the presence of Telecom Secretary Amit Agrawal.

TCIL Pays Dividend to Government
The company said the payment represents its dividend contribution to the government for FY2025-26.
“Telecommunications Consultants India Ltd (TCIL) today paid a dividend of Rs 43.86 crore to the Government of India for the year 2025-26,” the official statement said.
As a government-owned enterprise under the Ministry of Communications, TCIL provides consultancy and technical services in telecommunications, information technology and related infrastructure projects in India and overseas.
Leadership Presents Dividend Cheque
The dividend cheque was presented by TCIL CMD Syed Tausif Abbas to Jyotiraditya Scindia, who heads the Ministry of Communications.
Telecom Secretary Amit Agrawal was also present during the presentation.
Dividend payments by public sector enterprises provide a direct financial return to the government as a shareholder while also reflecting the companies’ contribution to public finances.
