Nissan India Reports Strong July Sales Growth
(Economy India): Nissan Motor India Pvt Ltd (NMIPL) recorded a 66.5% year-on-year increase in total wholesales in July 2026, reflecting strong momentum in both domestic and export markets.
The company sold 9,339 units during the month, compared with 5,608 units in July 2025, according to an official company statement.

Domestic Sales See Sharp Jump
Nissan’s domestic business delivered an impressive performance, with wholesales rising to 4,518 units in July 2026 from 1,420 units in the same month last year.
The significant increase highlights improving consumer demand and the company’s strengthening position in India’s competitive passenger vehicle market.
Exports Continue to Drive Growth
Exports also remained a key contributor to Nissan India’s overall performance.
The automaker exported 4,821 units in July, compared with 4,188 units during the corresponding month of the previous year, registering steady year-on-year growth.
The healthy export performance underscores India’s growing importance as a manufacturing and export hub for Nissan’s global operations.

India’s passenger vehicle industry continues to witness resilient demand, supported by improving consumer sentiment, festive season expectations, and expanding product portfolios.
