Real Estate Developer Expands Presence Across Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Mumbai Amid Strong Housing Demand

New Delhi (Economy India): Realty major Prestige Estates Projects Ltd has strengthened its residential portfolio by launching three new housing projects during the first quarter of FY2026-27, with an estimated revenue potential of ₹12,000 crore, reflecting sustained demand in India’s premium residential market.

According to the company’s latest operational update, Prestige launched four new projects during the April–June quarter with a combined developable area of 20.16 million square feet.

Residential Expansion Across Key Cities

Of the four new developments, three are residential projects located in:

  • Bengaluru
  • Hyderabad
  • Mumbai

The company also launched one commercial project in Bengaluru with a developable area of approximately 3 million square feet.

₹12,000 Crore Sales Potential

Prestige Estates said the three residential developments together are expected to generate around ₹12,000 crore in revenue, highlighting continued buyer confidence in India’s housing market.

The expansion comes as residential demand remains strong across major metropolitan cities, supported by rising incomes, improved infrastructure, and sustained demand for premium homes.

Strong Growth Strategy

The Bengaluru-headquartered developer continues to focus on expanding its footprint in high-growth urban markets by investing in:

  • Premium residential projects
  • Mixed-use developments
  • Commercial office spaces
  • Integrated townships
  • Sustainable real estate infrastructure

The company’s diversified project pipeline is expected to support long-term revenue growth.

Indian Real Estate Market Remains Resilient

Industry experts believe India’s residential real estate sector continues to witness healthy demand despite higher property prices and interest rates.

Factors supporting the market include:

  • Strong end-user demand
  • Urbanisation
  • Infrastructure development
  • Rising household incomes
  • Stable employment trends
  • Demand for premium housing

Leading developers have also accelerated project launches to capitalize on improving market sentiment.

With a robust launch pipeline and expansion across key metropolitan markets, Prestige Estates is expected to benefit from continued momentum in India’s residential property sector.

The company’s focus on premium developments and commercial real estate is likely to strengthen its position among India’s leading listed real estate developers.
