CSR – 1 Certification Enables the Chamber to Undertake Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Projects Nationwide
NEW DELHI (Economy India): The Ambedkar Chamber of Commerce and Industry™, a National Chamber for SC, ST, OBC, Women, DTNT, Minority, EWS, LGBTQ+ communities, and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) entrepreneurs has received official approval from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA), Government of India, to undertake Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities, marking a significant milestone in the Chamber’s institutional journey.
It is pertinent to note that Form CSR-1 is a mandatory registration mechanism prescribed by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs for entities seeking to receive CSR funding from corporates and to lawfully undertake Corporate Social Responsibility activities under the Companies Act, 2013.
The approval has been granted by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA), under the provisions of the Companies Act, 2013. As per the registration letter dated January 24, 2026, the Ambedkar Chamber of Commerce and Industry has been allotted the CSR Registration Number: CSR00103651, enabling it to implement and partner in CSR projects across India.
A Key Step Towards Structured Social Impact
The CSR registration formally recognizes Ambedkar Chamber of Commerce and Industry as an eligible implementing agency for CSR initiatives, allowing it to collaborate with corporates, public sector undertakings, and institutions to design and execute impactful projects in areas such as entrepreneurship development, skill building, education, livelihoods, inclusion, and social-economic empowerment programmes.
This certification enhances the Ambedkar Chamber’s credibility and positions it as a structured platform for advancing inclusive economic development, particularly for marginalized and underrepresented communities.

Through this CSR recognition, the Ambedkar Chamber of Commerce and Industry will work with corporate India to promote that development reaches the last person and remotest of remote regions.”

The registration also ensures compliance, transparency, and accountability in CSR execution, which is increasingly important in India’s evolving CSR ecosystem.
