September cottonseed oil cake futures fall 0.48% to ₹3,481 per quintal on NCDEX
New Delhi (Economy India): Cottonseed oil cake futures prices declined on Friday as traders reduced their positions amid weak demand and a subdued trend in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), cottonseed oil cake for September delivery fell ₹18, or 0.48%, to ₹3,481 per quintal.
The contract recorded an open interest of 40,780 lots.

Weak Spot Market Weighs on Prices
Market analysts said the decline was primarily driven by selling pressure from participants at prevailing price levels.
A weak trend in the physical or spot market also influenced trading sentiment, keeping pressure on cottonseed oil cake futures.
The subdued demand environment prompted traders to reduce their existing positions, contributing to the decline in prices.
