NEW DELHI (Economy India): N. Chandrababu Naidu is set to address a key session at the prestigious Raisina Dialogue in New Delhi on Saturday, where he will highlight the importance of technology-driven governance and innovation-led economic growth.
The global strategic conference, organised by the Observer Research Foundation in partnership with the Ministry of External Affairs, brings together world leaders, policymakers, technology experts, academics and industry leaders to deliberate on pressing global issues ranging from geopolitics to emerging technologies.

Focus on Digital Governance and Innovation
During the session, Naidu is expected to present Andhra Pradesh’s governance model, which increasingly relies on digital platforms, data analytics, artificial intelligence and smart infrastructure to improve public service delivery.
Naidu has long been regarded as one of India’s most technology-oriented political leaders, having earlier championed e-governance initiatives and digital infrastructure projects during his previous tenures as Chief Minister.
Policy analysts say his address is likely to focus on:
- The role of digital governance in improving transparency
- AI and data-driven public administration
- Technology as a driver of economic growth and investment
- Building innovation ecosystems and startup networks
Raisina Dialogue: India’s Premier Strategic Forum
The Raisina Dialogue has emerged as one of the world’s leading platforms for strategic and geopolitical discussions, often compared to global forums like the Munich Security Conference.
The 11th edition of the dialogue was inaugurated on Thursday by Narendra Modi, who emphasised the importance of multilateral cooperation, technological advancement and sustainable development in shaping the global order.
Each year the conference hosts:
- Government ministers from dozens of countries
- Diplomats and strategic experts
- Technology and industry leaders
- Think tanks and academic institutions

Technology and Governance in India’s Growth Story
Naidu’s participation also reflects the growing importance of digital governance in India’s development strategy.
States such as Andhra Pradesh are increasingly experimenting with AI-powered governance systems, blockchain-based public records, smart city projects, and digital citizen services aimed at improving efficiency and transparency.
Experts say technology-driven governance could play a major role in India’s ambition to become a $5 trillion economy, enabling better public service delivery, improved regulatory systems, and stronger investor confidence.
