Mumbai: Central Bank of India marked a historic milestone as it celebrated its 115th Foundation Day at its iconic Main Office and Corporate Headquarters in Mumbai. The commemorative event honored the bank’s rich legacy, longstanding service to the nation, and its progressive journey as one of India’s earliest and most trusted financial institutions.
The celebration was led by Shri Kalyan Kumar, Managing Director & CEO, along with Executive Directors Shri M.V. Murali Krishna, Shri Mahendra Dohare, and Shri E. Ratan Kumar. Senior leadership, including Board Members Shri Pradip Khimani, Shri S.K. Hota, Shri Priavrat Sharma, and Shri Manoranjan Dash, graced the occasion, joined by senior executives and staff members from across the organisation.

A moment of deep pride and emotional significance was added with the presence of Smt. Piloo Hakim, granddaughter of the bank’s visionary founder, Sir Sorabji Pochkhanawala, who served as the Chief Guest. Her presence evoked the institution’s timeless commitment to service, ethics, and nation-building.
