AICAPD (All India Citizens Alliance for Progress and Development) Delhi, is the second runner-up for their School Aapke Dwar project. The project travels to locations where migrant workers set up temporary hutments/jhuggies, usually near construction sites. For the past decade, the initiative has benefited approximately 5000 migrant children, and currently 680 children are receiving free education at their doorstep through this innovative initiative in Gurugram and Hardoi.

In addition, the Samaan Social Development Society Indore, received a special recognition award for its Women Mechanic Project, which aims to change gender norms by promoting livelihood skills among girls and young women. The goal of this project is to connect women with technical and mobility-based jobs. Through this programme, an attempt has been made to change the society’s beliefs and thinking.

The Awards have three focus areas: accessible, safe and smart mobility solutions.
