Shivraj Singh Chouhan Details Losses in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana


NEW DEHI (ECONOMY INDIA): In a significant meeting on Wednesday, Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan submitted a preliminary report to Home Minister Amit Shah regarding the extensive damage caused by floods and heavy rainfall in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The report highlights the adverse impact on agricultural crops in these regions.

Flood Impact Assessment
Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan met with Home Minister Amit Shah to discuss the severe consequences of the recent floods and heavy rainfall in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. During the meeting, Chouhan presented a detailed preliminary report outlining the damage to crops in the affected areas.

Central Team to Visit Flood-Hit Areas
Following the submission of the report, Minister Chouhan announced on social media platform ‘X’ that a central team would soon visit the flood-affected areas to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the damage. “We are committed to ensuring that the affected farmers receive the necessary support and relief,” Chouhan stated.

The report marks the beginning of the government’s efforts to address the damage caused by the natural calamity. The central team’s visit is expected to provide a more detailed evaluation of the situation, which will be crucial in formulating an effective relief plan for the affected regions.
